~* new boss *~
Its funny how things change so much when you have a change in boss.
You are basically doing the same role...living the same life...having the same colleagues but just having 1 personnel change, it can turn your life in the office from smooth and peaceful into a drama filled, emotion roller coaster ride.
This might sound abit exaggerated and i must admit it is but this is generally how i feel in the last month or so since I got a new boss.
And the thing is he is not a bad person, and outside of work, i think he is alright...but his management style, the way he put things across, and the things he say and do because of what others tell him, just makes me lose that confidence in him slowly everyday.
I already had a 'confrontation' with him within 2 weeks of him coming into his new role and i think that helped in making it easier for me but there have been other instances where me, and also some of my other team mates have found his methods and style a little different and not something we prefer.
A little note to myself, if i ever become someone's boss, i need to make sure their concerns, big or small are listened to and will try my best to fight for them. Without their full commitment to their work, i don't think i stand to win anything as a boss too.
AND I WILL NEVER DEEM ANYTHING TOO SMALL OR IRRELEVANT. IF AN EMPLOYEE BRINGS IT UP, IT MEANS IT MATTER TO THEM. WHY ELSE WILL THEY BRING IT UP?
To the bosses who do not get it, too bad. You are on your way to losing the respect of your subordinates.
