~* nike plus human race and running retail ambassador:) *~
got a last min call up on fri to help out and be the nike plus human race and running retail ambassador for the next few weekends.although i jog abit...i dun really noe abt like what type of shoes are suitable for wat type of feet etc...but thanks to some experts...i got a crush course in like 30mins and off i went the next day to Nike Vivocity and i will be stationed there for the next 3 weekends...my job scope is ACTUALLY pretty simple until i decided to make it hard for myself.
I am supposed to be the 'in house consultant' for customers enquiring about the human race and also to educate and teach customers about the nikeplus and the type of shoes thats suitable for each type of feet. I need not do sales and if customers wanna buy something i jus have to refer them to the sales staff.BUTBUTBUT....how do you actually reject a customer that ask u for help..ask u to help to check size and stuff...its impossible rite?(somebrand still say impossible is nothing..ahhaha)..so...i have to become a 'emergency staff' too..help them look for sizes...but of cos..in the end i still need the pple there to help me look..cos i dunno how or where they keep the shoes or clothes...and sometime when the others are busy...i try to look for it myself..think in another 1 or 2 more times there..i will be able to look for the stuff myself without any help liao..hahaa..then i will be a FULL FLEDGED sales stuff and part time AMBASSADOR instead of the other way round.
Anyway..for the first 2 days..i found the job quite fun and interesting...i get to tok to customers...though i get irritated by some..but generally its stuff fun...especially when i tell them about nikeplus and its functions...they were really impressed and some of them even bought the gadget after my introductions..not bad huh..to bad i got no commission...if not i think i will get quite a tidy sum of commission too:)
Hopefully over the next few weekends..i can learn more..especially about what the customers think of nike's product and also to share with them more abt nikeplus and other stuff..and i am proud to say that i din waste the time i interned at the FW BU...i learn about the FW and its technology so i was able to tell the customers and help them make their purchasing decsion..so proud of myself..ahahah..
All in all..its fun..but end of the day..i just hope i can lend myself a job in the main office after i ORD...thats my ultimate goal for sacrificing so much of my time over the last year...i hope i will be able to achieve my dream and get the dream job i am looking for:)
