~* high and low *~
just had such a rollercoaster day.It all started from 12am on thur morning...i got my result..the best performance so far in my university:) I was delighted...and very happy...going to office with a big smile even though i was quite sleepy.
Then it took a turn for the worst...the start of the HQ9Div/Inf G4 Br Meeting. It was quite interesting in the beginning when pple start to talk and i got to learn and understand some new stuff. But it soon turned bored and jargons and acronyms used became foreign to me. Every sentence contains some sort of like coded language that only sg army pple will understand and unfortunately, being away from the stupid place for 3 years liao made me forgot every single little things that i dunno y i did noe from last time.
Then it was my turn to speak.I admit the slides i did was not of the greatest and highest quality.But then again, who cares...i din choose to be here...besides, although the design and aesthetic side, the info side was quite detailed and to the best of my knowledge. But surprise surprise(maybe not very surprising cos army always like that), the higher level pple have already planned and came out with something quite different from the version that me and a warrant officer that i was working with understood all along. We were not updated of their discussion, whenever they did it, and when they corrected us on their 'correct and most updated' version, we were not really scolded, but being said to be not clear of the entire operation process.
This really pisses me off cos i actually did an admin instruction for this operation for one of the higher level officer and asked him to get back to me if theres any mistakes or changes to be made. He din after 2 weeks so i assumed everything is correct...but this 'surprise' awaited me but hey...i shouldn't be really surprise afterall...this IS the army...and in the army...everything the top wans to do, they do and they are always right.Not that i care since i am not a regular and my performance is not rated or ranked and no performance bonus will be given to me...but i sort of pity the warrant officer working with me. I understand from various sources that hes not exactly the best guy around but sometimes, u just have to pity someone like him.
And so the meeting ended ard 7pm and i was supposed to have training at nus at 7pm!luckily jin waited for me and by then time we reach nus and change up it was already like 745. We did some running and by 830, the training was cancelled due to lightning and slowly afterwards, it began to rain and we were just stuck there for 30mins..
Finally back home now and can't wait for tomolo to come...another day of trying to make things happen in camp and after that, ITS THE WEEKEND!!wooohooo...can't wait..today was really SUCKY..wat a @#$%* way to celebrate my 1 month back in green ..somehow i thank god for making the medical officer diagnose a medical condition that i did not have in the first place which causes me to not be able to sign on as a regular, if not...i would be just like anyone of them in the meeting jus now...jus having more load given and more shit to do...PHEWWW...
