I was very fortunate to be able to intern at what i believe is the best department in the organization that i would love to work in after i graduate. And that is non other than the Footwear department of Nike in Southeast Asia.
And i was also fortunate to be able to see and handle sooooooooooooooooooooooo many shoes that i lost count of it (definitely more than 500 different pairs of it) and i have to admit, i am becoming a shoe addict now. I look at a person's shoes in public as much as i look at his/her appearance(ok..i admit..most of the time its a her..ahhaha).
And 2 of the pairs that i LOVE the most, and i have also been lucky enough to be able to see and touch physically are the Nike SB What The Dunk and the Nike SB Dunk Pro aka Skate or Die.
The Skate or Die is a current season shoe and I have been hooked ever since i saw it for the first time. Its also quite hot in the market and i heard from a Nike employee that pple actually fight over it while queueing to purchase the shoes in Thailand. Last i heard, its selling at USD200 online when it was actually retailing at usd75 (Out of stock now).
The other shoe, Nike SB What The Dunk, is a limited edition Dunk which i have mentioned in one of my previous post..is a compilation of many dunks' design on different part of the shoe. Its not a current season shoe but its always been in demand by many collectors of sneakers. Last i checked, it was selling at USD300-500 online. And i am lucky to be able to see it as it was shipped in from the US HQ to my colleague in charge of the SB category to bring to Thailand for a Nike SB Event held there.
After seeing the pictures...are u in love with them too?
