My cousin once told me that in China, the manufacturer told her that they can do anything 一莫一样..meaning that any thing they are asked to 'imitate', they can do it exactly the same. So thats probably one of the most lucrative market in china nowadays.

And besides the 'Grade A' imitation that looks exactly the same, theres other grades and one of it is those they make looks similar, sounds similar, but can see theres difference. These are made intentionally to leverage on the Original's brand name but yet not get any lawsuits for copyright. I'm sure most of us heard/seen 'Asadi' slippers. So one day..i was walking down my hall's corridor and i saw this shoe..its not the look like original type of imitation cos then i might not be able to spot..but i really find this shoe hilarious..introducing...china's version of NIKE AIR JORDAN...

Ok..first, if you take a look at the name of the shoes at the yellow part, it says 'QIAODAN', which is the chinese name for Jordan.Next, looking at the logo at the tongue of the shoe..theres a image of a basketball player..so thats supposed to symbolise the Air Jordan 'Jumpman' logo which is supposed to look something like......

So now u see...china's manufacturer can really do 'GREAT' things imitating other more recognised brand's stuff...be it shoes, bags, apparals and many more..hahaa...and have different levels of imitation also..how 'customized' is that!
