~* last game *~
it wasn't actually our last game cos we were told there was a 5th and 6th placing match..but think cos i said too much abt it being the last game...god really made it my last game..I got injured...on my knee again!!i hate injuries at knee..its the most painful and slowest to recover..lets hope its not very serious...i would be happy if its same or less bad than the one i got the other time during the holidays.
My last game today..is a match i wan to forget...not playing well doesn't matter as bad as missing an open chance...i am sure everyone will be saying ntu no 8 is lousy..cannot even score with an open goal..i couldnt agree more...hai...to add insult to 'injury'(which is missing the goal), i got myself injured...LITERALLY!
its a bad day and one i cannot wait to forget.terribly disappointed with myself...think i am really a lousy striker...think i need a break from football...

~* semisss... *~
hall 1 is in the semis of the IHG!!for the first time since i came into hall, we managed to go into semis..but its against hall 6 in the semis..so its gonna be abit hard to progress to the finals..ahaha..oh well..we just try our best and see how it goes.
Was supposed to go KUSHINBO todae for lunch but by the time we reached there at 330, it was closed to prepare food for dinner which only starts at 530. As we already were very hungry, we went to each carls junior instead.SIAN!!was craving for jap food lo!
After we ate, we went to the Nike store in Suntec and i saw the stuff i bought on friday...so i went to check out the price of the things that i bought and boy am i lucky to be there on friday. Like mentioned in the previous post, i bought 3 top, 3 bottom, 1 jacket and 1 cap for 99bucks...after checking out the price today, i would just say that the 3 top together already is 180 bucks retail price...WOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHoOOOOOOOOO...ahahah...i din even try to add in the rest..part of me wished i bought more!!hahaha..but oh well..if i really managed to get a job there after i grad..u bet i will buy ALOTALOT when the next sales come!ahhahaa...
Tomorrow is my last game for NTU...against RP..never played against the school b4..lets hope everything ends well and we will win and hopefully i will score a farewell goal :) hehehe

~* a day at work.... *~
I went back to Nike today to help Jojo, the colleague i am closest to during my internship at the end of last year. He said he needed me to help him sort out some samples to the marketing team for photo shoot so i obliged. I felt it was a good chance to catch up with all of them again because when i left, some of them have yet to come back from their year end clearing of leave so i din managed to say good bye to all of them then.
Jo said he would not be able to pay me money for the work but will definately pass me some products to thank me for my help. So what i din expect was product=1 pair of shoes, 1 pair of boots, 2 pairs of sandals.
And to top it off...it was APPAREL SAMPLE SALES TODAY!!how better can the timing be!!I was quite 'sad' when i finish my internship cos when i was there, there were Footwear sample sales, equipment sample sales but no apparal sales cos apparantly they just had the sales b4 i joined them. So today was a good chance to complete the 'Grand Slam' of sample sales! And boy did i complete it. I spent $99 bucks to purchase 3 tops, 1 jacket, 3 shorts and 1 cap. It was good value for money but for a poor school boy like me...its still quite a significant amount. Oh well, i will just treat it as new year shopping. I am saving the shoes and shorts for the CNY.hahahah..and heres my purchases:)
I just love going back there...ahhahaa

~* Air Jordan (CHINA VERSION) *~
My cousin once told me that in China, the manufacturer told her that they can do anything 一莫一样..meaning that any thing they are asked to 'imitate', they can do it exactly the same. So thats probably one of the most lucrative market in china nowadays.
And besides the 'Grade A' imitation that looks exactly the same, theres other grades and one of it is those they make looks similar, sounds similar, but can see theres difference. These are made intentionally to leverage on the Original's brand name but yet not get any lawsuits for copyright. I'm sure most of us heard/seen 'Asadi' slippers. So one day..i was walking down my hall's corridor and i saw this shoe..its not the look like original type of imitation cos then i might not be able to spot..but i really find this shoe hilarious..introducing...china's version of NIKE AIR JORDAN...
Ok..first, if you take a look at the name of the shoes at the yellow part, it says 'QIAODAN', which is the chinese name for Jordan.Next, looking at the logo at the tongue of the shoe..theres a image of a basketball player..so thats supposed to symbolise the Air Jordan 'Jumpman' logo which is supposed to look something like......
So now u see...china's manufacturer can really do 'GREAT' things imitating other more recognised brand's stuff...be it shoes, bags, apparals and many more..hahaa...and have different levels of imitation also..how 'customized' is that!

~* Ended *~
It really ended. My 2 months on internship...just ended today. Really miss all of them. I guess i will feel weird not seeing them for the next few weeks/months. Think i will try to go back to visit them once a while...becos like the sayings goes...out of sight, out of mind...ahahah..i must stay in their mind so that the company's 'mind'--the HR pple also keep mi in mind of any future openings.
They brought me out for a deptment farewell lunch at DING TAI FUNG in Tampines Mall. Constance, the manager i am supposed to replace/take over duties from when she went on her 6 weeks leave treated us to the lunch. I also managed to get a testimonial from my FW deptment's DIRECTOR!!ahhaha...kan shuang..............hope i can get a job soon too in Nike.
Feeling damn shag now..going to sleep...update on the ivp first game later

~* Last Day *~
All good things ends...and tomorrow...one of the best thing that ever happened to me...my internship at Nike...is ending:( I'm quite sad in a way cos i really enjoyed myself there over the past 2 months...made alot of frens, learn alot of things, and interacted with alot of pple from all over SEA. Not to mention of cos, the new shoes that i got as a result of this internship.
Nonetheless, i guess the thing i will miss most is the company and frenship of the colleagues, esp those in my deptment. I can just be entertained by sitting there and listening to their conversation which is forever sooo interesting and funny.
Not just them, even the other colleagues, those of them who are roughly ard my age, the 'youngsters' in the company...we can clicked easily and though its like less than 2 months, i feel as if i know them for very long already.
Like i said in one of my earlier post, i went to nike looking to experience the culture...now i would say that i have truly experienced it and it really is what everyone else says it is...dynamic, casual, flexible but yet still able to get everything that should be done DONE.
And like i have told 3294357 others, i really hope to be able to go back to Nike again after i graduate to become a perm staff. REALLY!!plsplsplspls let it happen!!
