~* Pissed *~
I was quite pissed today at work. And it had to come at the 2nd last day of work, spoiling all the good image and experience that I have over my 10 weeks of attachment. And this is the email that pissed me off GREATLY!
'Pls see the attached. I got a shock of my life! A lot of the names are weird. Are there many foreigners in our database? What do you suggest? Go ahead or reject them and call for new participants. The first group is to be held this coming Tues and the interns are leaving this Fri.'Ok..the story is that the person who send this email asked me and Yijia, a fellow intern, to call a list of people to ask them to come for a focus grp discussion. She wasn't from the department that i am working in. So its like she just ask us to call for her because i guess she noes that it is a thankless task and that she jus wans to let us do things she dun wan or is not free to do. Then, she did not tell us the so called most impt criteria, which was that she ONLY WANS SINGAPOREAN CHINESE to come for the discussion session. So when we called and not surprisingly, singaporeans DO NOT wan/like to go for this type of things..and most of the people whom we called and agreed to come are foreigners working in singapore. And she had to send this mail sounding so SCARSTIC and she even cc to the V.P of the department. I mean like WTF!!??u din tell us the 'most impt' criteria in the first place and you din even bother to apologise to us and ask us nicely to help u call and find pple again. U just ask us y issit mostly foreigners like its our fault. And to think that 70% of the users of the website are foreigners.If you wan to hear opinions, everyone noes that you should ask your customers and if your customers are foreigners, then i think u dun have a choice but to hear from them too.But she insist on having locals..which i find weird but thats not the point, the point is..I EXPECT U TO TELL US NICELY, or even APOLOGISE to us for not telling us clearly wat u wan in the first place which results in us having to call them again now..doing extra work. And the email she sent, makes it look like its not her fault and the fact that she even cc to the V.P just totally pissed mi off..Its just as well that tomolo is my last day...save mi the agony of seeing you or needing to help you again..!@$%#$^#%&%*^!
