~* Traditions *~

I just came back from my uncle's place and his son just got married yesterday. It feels quite weird cos i sort of watch his son grew up since young and now that he is getting married at a young age of 18, i am at a loss to describe my feelings and thoughts.
Of cos i am happy for him but i also wonder when my turn will come(not that i am desperate to get married or wat but jus wondering how long more will it take considering that i am already 7 years older than him). On the other hand, i also wonder wat sort of experience his wife and him will go through given that they are still so young and will definately still wanna 'play' and have some freedom b4 really settling down and jus focus on working and supporting the family.
And the issue i am most bluffered abt is the traditions that the old folks insist on carrying out during the wedding. I dunno how long this will last but I for one dare say when my children eventually get married, i wun insist or follow all the traditions or even any at all cos i dunno any at all!I listen to my parents saying that the gal side wanted this and that and the guy side have no choice but to do accordingly so as not to make the wedding an unhappy one to start with.
Also, when i saw them just now, they look soooo young and innocent that its jus like any other sec school couples u see on the road everyday. Its gonna be a long and exciting learning journey for them for sure.
Nonetheless, i wish them all the best and hope their marriage will be an everlasting loving happy blissful one:)
CONGRATS!!
