~* RED STAR *~
Today morning was the first meal we ate together since my brother came back from Dubai yesterday noon. I had match yesterday night so i couldn't join them for dinner.
We went to Red Star Restaurant for Dim Sum. Red Star is located at somewhere near Chinatown..to be exact, it is at 54 Chin Swee Road, #07-23. It is an old and established restaurant and most if not all of the customers there are like 30 plus and above wan.
Personally i have not eaten there before cos the last time my parents went there to eat with their frens i had soccer/camp which i cannot remember so i missed it. But i have always hear of them and frens saying good things abt the restaurant so i was looking forward to going there and feast on the dim sum!!
When we reached there..there was quite a long queue but it was also the first time dad din say lets go another place when he see the long queue.Probably cos he have no other options cos thats the only eating place ard the area unlike when we were at shopping centres...ahaha.
Waited for abt 20 mins b4 we got our seats and boy did we start to eat.We ordered so many stuff and we just gobbled them down at such speed i din even have time (actually i also cannot wait to eat so i purposely forget) to take pictures of the food we ordered.
The food is quite good and lives up to its reputation. Though i would have preferred if they have some cheesy stuff like my favourite cheese bacon wrap that the dim sum restuarant that we used to go at PSA building have.I am a sucker for cheese and mayo..ahaha.
Overall..i would rate the restaurant's food at 4 stars out of 5.the remaining 1 star is for nex time if i managed to eat something better then i can give 5 stars..haha..its also because although the food is good..i think it can be better...anyplace to intro that you think has good dim sum??
